We are regret to say, according to Laws and Regulations stated, Mainland Chinese Students are not allowed to involve in any job offering whilst studying in Taiwan.

Overseas Chinese Students and Mainland Chinese Students of NCKU shall reserve the priority for accommodation application (except for BOT dormitory). For dormitory introductions and housing regulations, please refers to NCKU Housing Service Division.

Mainland Chinese Students shall all participated in "國泰人壽團體保險" for the entire study life in NCKU (NTD3,000.00/semester). Besides, all NCKU students are compulsory to participate in "學生平安保險“ (managed by Student Assistance Division). For more information, please check on to Insurance for MCS and further overseas insurances are under self-consideration.

Overseas and Mainland Chinese Affairs Division (OMCSAD) offers only one united transportation service for MCS and OCS from Kaohsiung International Airport to NCKU main campus. Please refers to the Reminders Before Coming to Taiwan to apply in time(Transportation fee will be charged). Vary transportation options are also available for new MCS.

MCS are allowed to apply for minor program study, double majors or major transfer, only for the course(s) that open for MCS on that particular academic year as the course(s) that open for MCS are vary in different year. For those who wants to apply for the course(s) that are not enlisted, please contact and inform OMCSAD priorly before the coming January, OMCSAD shall submits the case-based application to Ministry of Education. Overdue applications shall not attended.

*Online payment and Invoice issue are not available for Reenrollment Students, please inquires for the School & Miscellaneous Fee due from the Finance Cashier Division and makes payment upon arriving NCKU.

General Procedure as follow:
1. Please log into Online Application System for Graduation from NCKU to fill in and print out the procedure application form. 
2. Bring forward the application form to OMCSAD for stamp & chop approval, fill out the survey of Student Post-graduating Planning, and the estimated date of leaving Taiwan.
3. Bring the procedure application form over to NCKU Registrar's Division for stamp & chop approval and obtaining Graduation Certificate afterward. Bring the Graduation Certificate to OMCSAD for final confirmation and Student Graduation Report to Ministry of Education. After report is completed, graduation student from Taiwan are eligible for Education Certificate Recognition in Mainland China.
* Graduates are recommended to makes photocopies(max:10 copies) of Graduation Certificate from Secretariat Office Documentation Division. Photocopies are having the SAME LEGAL VALIDITY as the original copy. 
*Graduates shall EXITS Taiwan within 30days after official graduation, Overstaying would be charged with fine. For more information, please refer to MAINLAND CHINESE STUDENT/ ENTRY & EXITS OF MCS AND RELATIVES.

 Excellent mainland chinese students are always welcome to continue their post-graduates study here in NCKU. Qualified Mainland Chinese Students are eligible to apply post-graduates programs in NCKU according to National Cheng Kung University Requirements for Exceptional Students to Transfer Directly into Doctoral Program. Notice that the Doctoral Program opens for MCS application are vary annually. Please contact OMCSAD if you're interested to apply Doctoral Program that are not in the open list AND the FACULTY accepted your application, OMCSAD shall assists in case-based report application to Ministry of Education.

Mainland Chinese Students are having the rights as students to participate in any certify clubs or organization in NCKU. In 2015, under the consultant of OMCSAD, 成功大學陸生會（學位生）was officially established. All undergraduate Mainland Chinese Students are welcome to the association.

They could apply for 大陸來台自由行 or 大陸地區人民入出境證（家長入台證） Entry & Exits Permit for People of Mainland China ( Parental Entry Permit). The Entry & Exits Permit for People of Mainland China are only applicable for the Student's Parents, Grandparents, Offspring and Partners, Siblings are Not eligible to apply. 1. Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit （入台證）: Please heads to National Immigration Agency First Tainan Service Station apply for replacement. For more informations, please refers to MAINLAND CHINESE STUDENTS/ ENTRY & EXITS OF MCS AND RELATIVES.
2. Pass Mainland Residents to Taiwan （大通證）:Please contact Straits Exchange Foundation （海基會）,02-2175-7000 for assistants. Documents required including Letter of Petition, Photocopy of Lost Report (or Damage Report), Photocopy of Mainland China ID, Photocopy of Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit and Ticket of Leaving Taiwan.

For senior students, Application shall be completed by him/herself or submit directly to the Personnel during the In-Campus application service on the beginning of the semester.
 

According to the Laws and regulation of Taiwan, for application of mobile line, one personal ID number (統一證號) shall only register one mobile number line under a Mobile Communication Company. Two official credential certificates shall be present for application. For more information, please inquires the nearest mobile communication company service center.
Qualification:
1. 20 year old and above
(i) First credential certificate: Passport (validity > 3months)
(ii) Second credential certificate: Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit or Pass Mainland Resident to Taiwan (validity > 3 months)
(iii) Verification of Student Status: Certified Testimony from Registrar's Division/ Stamp-proved Student ID copy/ Offer Letter.
(iv) Guarantor/ Deposit: For application of Registered Mobile Line, a guarantor ( >20 year old, Taiwan Nationality, Legal Capacity) shall signs along on the agreement and deposit shall be made based on company's regulation.
2. Under 20 year old
(i) First credential certificate: Passport (validity > 3months)
(ii) Second credential certificate: Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit or Pass Mainland Resident to Taiwan (validity > 3 months)
(iii) Verification of Student Status: Certified Testimony from Registrar's Division/ Stamp-proved Student ID copy/ Offer Letter.
(iv) Statutory Agent: Applicants under 20 year old despite nationality, a legal statutory agent shall required during application. For international students, requirement of Statutory Agent requirement might exempted depends on Mobile Communication Company.
(v) Guarantor/ Deposit: For application of Registered Mobile Line, a guarantor ( >20 year old, Taiwan Nationality, Legal Capacity) shall signs along on the agreement and deposit shall be made based on company's regulation.

Prepare and Submit the following Documents upon Application

3. Verification of Student Status 
4. Second credential certificate ( Passport, ID card of Mainland China, Pass Mainland Resident to Taiwan or other legal identification supporting documents)
*Opening in a saving account in ChungHwa Post (NCKU division) is strongly recommended, as statutory agent is exempted for applicant under 20 year old. Besides, scholarships and insurances claims are normally transact through ChungHwa Post.

If you are having:
1. Driving License ( Motorcycle/ Car) of Mainland China:
After getting your license certified from the Notary Public Office in Mainland China or Straits Exchange Foundation in Taiwan, You may apply through Motor Vehicle Service Office in Taiwan ( medical checkout and written test are needed except for Road Test)
2. International Driving License of Mainland China:
The license is NOT recognizable in Taiwan.
3. Driving License of Other Mutual Recognized Country:
After certification of License, a direct application of EQUIVALENT License is allowed with no test required.
4. International Driving License of Other Mutual Recognized Country:
Apply for International Driving License Visa through Motor Vehicle Service Office (maximum valid for 1 year)
5. No Driving License:
Attend Driving License Test (professional Driving License is not allowed). Qualification Requirements as follow:

• at least 18 year old
• supporting document for reside in Taiwan over 1 year (e.g.: multiple Exit & Entry Permit)
• Learning Certificate( at least 3 month learning of Driving) for Car Driving Test; No Learning Certificate needed for Motorcycle Driving Test.
• Half- Length Photo (within 6 months, white background, no cover on head)
• Medical Report from qualified medical center.

Purchasing and Registration is allowed for international students.
Document Required:

• Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit (validity > 6 months)
• Valid Driving License
• Verification of Student Status

Mandatory Insurance is compulsory for every Registered Vehicle and Vehicle Scrapped or Transfer of Vehicle Ownership shall be done before Exit Taiwan.
