Yes, you can check on the website of each department and adminstration office if they need to recruit.

First, please go to the nearest police station to report the loss and obtain a police report receipt (three-copy form) or a certificate of loss. This document is required for applying for a replacement ARC.

You may then choose one of the following methods to apply for a replacement:

1. In-person application

(Submitted by the applicant or an authorized representative at the National Immigration Agency)

Required documents:

• Original passport and a copy

• Police report or certificate of loss

• If applying through a representative, please also provide the original authorization letter and the representative’s ID

2. Online application

(Through the National Immigration Agency online system)

• Apply using your own account

• Upload electronic copies of your passport and ARC

• Upload the police report or certificate of loss

To open a bank or postal account, please prepare the following documents and visit a post office or bank:

1. ARC (Alien Resident Certificate)
2. Personal seal (chop)
3. Certificate of Enrollment (available from the NCKU Registration Division after the semester begins)
4. A secondary form of identification (e.g., passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Mainland Residents, PRC ID card, or other valid identification documents)

※ It is recommended to open an account at the NCKU Post Office (Kuang-Fu Campus). Chunghwa Post does not require a “Parental/Legal Guardian Consent Form” for applicants under the age of 18, making the process more convenient. Additionally, most scholarship and insurance reimbursements are transferred to postal accounts.
