Enrollment / Registration

Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau students:

  1. Please fill out the【Online Registration for NEW Overseas Chinese Students】and bring a 2-inch photo along with related documents to the office of Overseas Students and Scholars Services (1F, East Building, Yun-Ping Building) during the registration period.

  2. Please go to the home page of NCKU/ Enrolled Students /Service For Incoming Students / Personal Data Registration, to fill in the "Basic Data Entry for new student" (print and submit to Registrar Division) and "Student personal Information record" (print and submit to your department). When logging in for the first time, please fill in your student ID number in the National ID No. field. Please do change the National ID No. into your correct corresponding ARC No. or passport number after logging in.

  3. Enrollment notice: Please bring “2021 NCKU New Student Registration Form (Overseas Chinese Student)” during enrollment process. At the end of the registration process, submit a photocopy of it to the Registrar Division to receive your student ID.

  4. Enrollment/Tuition fees/Course enrollment: Announcement in the Registrar Division / NCKU Course Information & Enrollment. 

  5. Course enrollment: Undergraduate freshmen can participate in the 2nd stage course enrollment (8/30-9/8). Please see the 2021.7.7 notice by the Registrar Division for more specific details and important announcements.

  6. High school graduation certificate (both original and photocopy) is required for enrollment. The graduation certificate should be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or associations approved by the Overseas Community Affairs Council. For those who studied in Hong Kong or Macau, graduation certificates should be certified by Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO). For those who studied in the mainland area, the graduation certificate should be certified by the Notary Public Office in the mainland area. Applicants with other equivalent academic qualifications (including Year 5) need to submit Certificate of Study and High School Academic Transcript (Certification required as mentioned above).

  7. Any applications for course credits waiver shall be processed and reported to own department within the first week of the semester (before 2021/9/22).

  8. Please contact the respective department for any questions about courses.

  9. Neither admission letter from “University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students” nor admission letter from “NCKU individual enrollment” will be reissued, please keep your admission letter properly.

  10. Please kindly refer to 2021 NCKU Academic calendar for important dates.

 

International Student

  1. Please fill out the【NCKU ISAD Online Registration for International Degree Students】and bring a 2-inch photo along with related documents to the office of Overseas Students and Scholars Services (1F, East Building, Yun-Ping Building) during the registration period.

  2. Please go to the home page of NCKU/ Enrolled Students /Service For Incoming Students / Personal Data Registration, to fill in the "Basic Data Entry for new student" (print and submit to Registrar Division) and "Student personal Information record" (print and submit to your department).
