DIRECT ADMISSION

1. Hong Kong Macao Students and National without Household Registration:

Students shall apply for Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit. Please follows “Application Guidelines (1)”
 

2. Overseas Chinese Students with Visitor Visa:

Students shall apply for Residence Visa. After Residence Visa is issued, please apply for Alien Residence Certificate (ARC). Please follows “Application Guidelines (2) (3)”
 

3. Overseas Chinese Students & Hong Kong Macao Students with Foreign Nationality with Residence Visa:

Students shall apply Alien Residence Certificate through Immigration Agency First Service Station, Tainan in 15 days after Entry. Please follows “Application Guidelines (3)”

NCKU GRADUATES OR OTHER SITUATIONS

Remarks:

1. NCKU Graduates refers to Overseas Chinese students who taken OCAC College Entrance Examination

2. Other situations refers to Overseas Chinese Students who enrolled into post-graduates program & etc.

Overseas Chinese Students with National ID

1. Overseas Chinese Students with Taiwan(R.O.C) passport:

Please head to Household Registration Office for Household Registration Recovery.

2. Overseas Chinese Students with National ID and Taiwan(R.O.C) passport:

   1. Please bring along Student ID, Notice of Assignment, Passport and other supporting document to Household Registration Office to retrieve your Overseas Chinese Students Identity after School Registration.

1. For those who’s having Military Conscript Identity, please kindly remember

   1. Bring your National ID to Student Assistance Division (SAD), Office of Student Affairs to fill out and submit the Form of Military Service Status in order to facilitate SAD to apply for draft deferment.

   2. Complete the Online Exit Permit Applications for Overseas Chinese of Conscription Age (issued from OMCSAD) and submit to Immigration Agency First Service Station, Tainan with original copy of Verification of Student Status. Online Service is now available, please log into National Immigration Agency Webpage/ Online Exit Permit Applications for Overseas Chinese of Conscription Age to complete the application and print out the permit issued before you exit.

3. For those require Taiwan (R.O.C) passport

Please bring along the application form, 1 valid half-length photo, National ID photocopy (front and back) to Immigration Agency First Service Station, Tainan for application.
