Company Introduction

Like It Formosa was founded in 2015 and is now the largest English walking tour company in Taiwan. It trains talented Taiwanese with strong language skills to become professional English tour guides, leading international visitors to explore Taiwan on foot. The company currently operates in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, has trained around 300 guides, and has welcomed over 65,000 travelers from more than 70 countries.

From 2017 to 2025, Like It Formosa received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for several consecutive years. In 2018, it was selected by Freetour.com as the 3rd Best Free Tour in Asia. The company also won the PitchCamp Taiwan startup pitch competition, was named one of The News Lens “Future Influencers,” and received the LaVie “Taiwan Creative Power 100” Creative Platform Award, earning strong recognition both locally and internationally.

Meet Up Formosa is the education sub-brand of Like It Formosa, launched in 2018 and dedicated to English tour-guiding education. To date, it has taught more than 15,000 Taiwanese how to introduce Taiwan in English and has collaborated with nearly 200 schools and museums to design and deliver English tour-guiding courses. In 2023, Meet Up Formosa also launched an online course on VoiceTube Vclass: “Impactful Spoken Communication: Fall in Love with Introducing Taiwan in English.”

Guide Responsibilities

• July–December: Work as a Free Walking Tour guide, private tour guide, or supporting staff for English tour-guiding courses, depending on your availability.

• July–August: Serve as staff for summer camp programs.
