在台灣就學與生活期間，請務必了解我國對電子煙與加熱菸的規定。

While studying and living in Taiwan, please be aware of the laws on e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products.

這兩類產品外型相似，但法律規範不同。

They may look similar, but they are regulated differently.

電子煙

E-cigarettes

電子煙以煙彈裝入液態煙油，經霧化器加熱產生氣霧，煙油可能含有尼古丁。

E-cigarettes use pod cartridges filled with e-liquid, which an atomizer heats to produce an aerosol, and the e-liquid may contain nicotine.

電子煙不含菸草，外型常有各式新奇造型。

They do not contain tobacco and often come in novel shapes.

電子煙全面禁止製作、販賣、使用，違者處以罰鍰。

The production, sale, and use of e-cigarettes are completely prohibited, and violators will be fined.

加熱菸

Heated Tobacco Products

加熱菸是將菸草棒插入加熱器中，加熱真正的菸草並產生氣霧。

Tobacco sticks are inserted into a heating device, which heats real tobacco to produce an aerosol.

加熱菸含有菸草成分，多為筆狀或盒形。

Heated tobacco products contain tobacco and are commonly pen-shaped or box-shaped.

依《菸害防制法》，使用電子煙或未經審查核定的加熱菸，罰鍰 2,000 元至 10,000 元。

Under the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, using e-cigarettes or unapproved heated tobacco carries a fine of NT$2,000 to NT$10,000.

販賣或展示電子煙，罰鍰 20 萬元至 100 萬元。

Selling or displaying e-cigarettes carries a fine of NT$200,000 to NT$1,000,000.

一般個人自國外攜帶電子煙入境，罰鍰 5 萬元至 500 萬元。

Individuals who bring e-cigarettes into Taiwan from abroad face a fine of NT$50,000 to NT$5,000,000.

許多國家的電子煙與加熱菸是合法的，但帶入台灣是違法的，請勿攜帶。

These products may be legal elsewhere, but bringing them into Taiwan is illegal, so please do not carry them.
