【Announcement】Applications Now Open for the 2026 NCKU–OCAC Joint Scholarship for Overseas Compatriot Undergraduate Students

1. Scholarship Regulations:
This scholarship is administered in accordance with the “Directions for the NCKU & OCAC Joint Scholarship for Overseas Compatriot Undergraduate Students.” (Chinese version only)

2. Eligibility:
New undergraduate Overseas Compatriot students admitted to NCKU for the 2026/2027 academic year who have been awarded the OCAC Top or Outstanding Overseas Compatriot Undergraduate Student Scholarship.

※ For information regarding scholarship renewal for current students, please refer to the above-mentioned regulations or contact the Overseas Students and Scholars Services Division.

3. Scholarship Content:

(1) Recipients of the OCAC Top Scholarship (NT$260,000 per academic year)

• NCKU–OCAC “Top” Joint Scholarship: NT$130,000 per academic year

(2) Recipients of the OCAC Outstanding Scholarship (NT$100,000 per academic year)

• NCKU–OCAC “Outstanding” Joint Scholarship: NT$50,000 per academic year

※ The scholarship will be awarded upon approval through NCKU’s review procedures.

4. How to Apply:
Applicants must complete the Google Form and upload the required documents between August 21, 2026 (Friday) and September 13, 2026 (Sunday).

(1) [Required] Official notification/certificate issued by the OCAC confirming the award of the Top or Outstanding Overseas Compatriot Undergraduate Student Scholarship

(2) [Required] Certificate of Enrollment/Student Status issued by NCKU

(3) [Required] A copy of the applicant’s highest educational qualification certificate and academic transcript
※For documents issued in languages other than Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation must also be provided. Both the original copies and translations must be authenticated by an overseas Taiwan mission, or verified by a recommending institution designated by the OCAC.

(4) [Required] Two letters of recommendation

(5) [Optional] Other documents demonstrating outstanding academic or extracurricular achievements
※In addition to providing relevant supporting documents, applicants are encouraged to include a one-page summary highlighting the contents and key points of the submitted materials to help reviewers quickly understand the information provided. The final review will be based on the documents submitted.

(6) [Optional] Copy of ARC or Taiwan National Identification Card

(7) [Optional] Copy of Chunghwa Postal Savings Passbook
