1. Purpose of the event

The Youth Development Administration (hereinafter referred to as “YDA”) will host the "2023 Global Youth Trends Forum” with the aim of promoting both exchange and interaction among young people from Taiwan and all over the world, strengthening their bonds of friendship, and creating opportunities for cross-border cooperation in youth affairs. The event agenda will be diverse and enriching, inviting young individuals in Taiwan with international involvement or experience in youth affairs to engage in discussions and exchanges with youth from various countries.

3. Information on recommendation

1. Target participants:
   1. 1. 1. International youths recommended by their college/university: Individuals aged 18-35 (born between January 1, 1988 and December 31, 2005). When a participant on the accepted list is not able to attend, another participant will be chosen in sequence from the waiting list.
         2. Youths who are preferably proactive, positive, possess a strong spirit of teamwork, who can attend the entire agenda—including both the visit activities and two-day forum—with their group, have relevant experience, are enthusiastic about participating in international exchanges, and are interested in the forum topics (see Attachment 2).
2. Registration method:

Online recommendation. Recommendations are open from today until 5:00 p.m. on Sep. 24 (Sunday). Please upload the Recommendation Form to the following link: https://forms.gle/15Aeab7pwGUKaUcM9.

3. Announcement

 The list of confirmed participants will be announced on the official website and the iYouth Platform for Making Youth’s International Dreams Happen before the end of September. When a participant on the accepted list loses eligibility to attend, another participant will be chosen in sequence from the waiting list.
