National Science and Technology Council(NSTC) of Taiwan launched a new internship program called “International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP).” This program aims to recruit international students to join a 3-month internship programs in universities in Taiwan. Each participant can receive subsidy of NT$30,000 every month.

1. Applying time: From May to October, 2023.
2. Eligibility of application: Undergraduate and graduate students with foreign nationality, who match Taiwan’s key fields in scientific R&D.
3. Internship Duration: No more than 3 months (90 days) between May to December.
4. How-to-apply: Submit required documents, including online application form, head-shot photo, photocopy of student ID, Academic records certified by school or certificate of enrollment, department recommendation letter, curriculum vitae, and complete application online.
5. Subsidies: Each participant will receive subsidy of NT$30,000 every month
6. Visions to the program: To accelerate the development of key S&T fields in Taiwan and expand related international network. The participants can gain access to cutting-edge labs in Taiwan, and these labs can also enhance its global talent pool. NSTC expect sustained interaction with foreign S&T talents and positive exchange.
