National Museum of Taiwan Literature“2023 United Nations of Stories”Lecturer Invitation

The event “2023 United Nations of Stories” aims to promote children’s literature books, enhance children’s understanding of various countries and also broaden their horizons. This year, the theme of the chosen picture books will be “United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, for extending the sharing of experience in various countries’ sustainable ecological development, and discussing the coexistence of human and ecology, ecological protection methods, ecological conservation, green buildings, etc. In addition, there will be experience courses which encourage parents and children to have fun together after storytelling. The countries selected for the event this year include the United States (with scheduled lecturers), Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Kingdom of Eswatini and other countries.

At present, we are trying our best to recruit lecturer candidates, and we would like to sincerely invite you to serve as a lecturer of the event this year.

Place of the events are to be held at National Museum of Taiwan Literature B1 Literature Paradise (No. 1, Zhongzheng Road, West Central District, Tainan City), the time is from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on every specific Saturday (about 1 hour), and the target audience is “children under 12 years old”.

The speech fee is NT$2,000 (transportation expenses are not included), and another NT$1,000 will be offered for photography license fee.
