One of the reasons why most Taiwanese refuse to speak English in front of others is the lack of confidence. And one way to build up the confidence is to put “speaking” into practice in the daily life. As a consequence, the Global Competence Advancement Center (GCAC) cordially invites Mrs. Huang, Chairperson of the Taiwan Children’s Literature Research Association (TCLRA), to come to NCKU and introduce a new way of learning to our faculty members and administrative staffs. By using materials which can be found in our daily lives, attendees can start their speaking practice actively and further boost their confidence while speaking English.
