About how to apply and renew NCKU Distinguished Scholarship
Dear NCKU students,
Greetings from the Overseas Students and Scholars Services Division (OSSS).
Here are two things regarding the NCKU Distinguished International Students Scholarship we would like you to pay attention to.
1. Scholarship application: For fall-admitted students whose scholarship will end in August, 2022.
2. Scholarship renewal confirmation: For spring-enrolling students with scholarship duration of less than one year.
Please read the following information carefully:
Scholarship Application
The NCKU Distinguished International Students Scholarship for fall- enrolling students ends in August, 2022. If you are a student enrolling in the fall semester, you might be eligible to reapply for the scholarship in the upcoming academic year. Please follow the “Regulation of NCKU Distinguished International Students Scholarship.”
The application timetable is as follows, and the specific time is subject to the announcement of each department.

August 30-September 10, 2022 |
Applicants have to fill out the Google form online and submit their applications. |

September 11-20, 2022 |
Department committee reviews and evaluates the applications. After the final evaluation from the college committee, the application results will be sent to the OSSS. |

September 21-30, 2022 |
OSSS will do the final information check and propose the budget to the higher-management for approval. |

During the application and evaluation process, you will be responsible for your own living expenses until the scholarship award in late October or early November. Please note that exact timing of remittance will depend on the school’s administrative procedures.
Scholarship Renewal Confirmation
According to Article 11(1) of NCKU Scholarship Regulation, “Approved recipients must officially enroll and complete the ARC verification before they can receive the awarded scholarship every semester.” Before September 15, 2022, Students who apply during the scholarship period should fill out the Google form (https://forms.gle/
