The Harvard Taipei Academic delegation engaged in culture exchanges with NCKU students.
On July 13, National Cheng Kung University warmly welcomed a delegation of 14 students and 4 professors from the Harvard Taipei Academic program for a vibrant day of academic and cultural exchange. The event was joined by 13 NCKU students, who participated in interactive discussions, group activities, and cultural sharing sessions.
This meaningful visit provided an excellent opportunity for students from both institutions to broaden their global perspectives and build lasting connections. Through academic dialogues and collaborative exchanges, the students explored diverse viewpoints on education, innovation, and leadership, while also reflecting on the similarities and differences between their learning environments.
Beyond campus interactions, the Harvard Taipei Academic group was given a guided tour of NCKU’s historic campus and experienced the cultural richness of Tainan, one of Taiwan’s oldest cities. From traditional architecture to local cuisine, the guests enjoyed a taste of southern Taiwan’s unique charm.
Prof. Sun-Yuan Hsieh, Vice President of International Affairs, introduced NCKU and Tainan to the Harvard Taipei Academic delegation.
NCKU is honored to have hosted this international exchange and looks forward to fostering more meaningful academic partnerships in the future. The visit not only strengthened ties between the two institutions but also inspired deeper cross-cultural understanding.
