On the afternoon of June 25, Office of International Affairs (OIA) of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) hosted the Career Navigator Program Briefing at the OIA meeting room. Organized by the Division of Student and Scholar Services, the event aimed to foster interaction between international students and local industries while strengthening the university’s visibility in industry-academia collaboration and global talent development. Representatives from three key industrial sectors were invited to attend and engaged in in-depth discussions with Prof. Wei-Shiun Chang, Associate Vice President for International Affairs.
Participating companies included Standard Chem& Pharm Co., Ltd., Wistron Corporation, and NANPAO Resins Chemical Group. Company representatives introduced their organizations, recruitment needs, and international development strategies, and emphasized the value they place on recruiting global talent.
 

Prof. Chang introduced the Career Navigator Program to the three company representatives attending the meeting.

The briefing session included an overview of the Career Navigator Program, models of industry-academia collaboration, the INTENSE program, and various career development activities. All participating companies expressed strong recognition of the potential of NCKU’s international students and voiced their willingness to engage in future collaboration through the program to jointly nurture talent aligned with global industry demands.

This briefing event successfully facilitated dialogue between academia and industry, built meaningful connections between companies and international talent, and once again demonstrated NCKU’s active role as a key platform for global talent exchange.
