NCKU hosts students and faculty from HKUGA College to introduce various study opportunities and multicultural campus life in NCKU.

On April 8, 2025, a delegation of 32 students and 3 teachers from the Hong Kong University Graduate Association College (HKUGA College) visited National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) to explore academic opportunities and the possibility of pursuing further studies at NCKU. The session began with the welcoming remarks by Ms. Melody Tseng, the Deputy Director of Division of Overseas Recruitment and Admission (ORA), Office of International Affairs (OIA). Deputy Director Tseng highlighted Hong Kong as a key source of overseas students at NCKU, noting that more than 300 students from Hong Kong have graduated from the university, with nearly 150 currently enrolled.

Following the warm welcome, Ms. Charlotte Li, Senior Executive Manager of ORA, gave an informative presentation on NCKU, highlighting the university’s unique strengths, admission pathways, various scholarship opportunities, and abundant resources available to students. In addition, Hong Kong student representatives Ms. Ho-Yi Kwok and Ms. Hei-Tun Kot shared their enriching academic experiences and vibrant campus life at NCKU. The information provided left a strong impression on the visiting students and teachers, sparking their interest in learning more about this top-tier university. During the Q&A session, several students and teachers eagerly asked about scholarships, tuition fees, and other aspects of academic and campus life, further reflecting their keen interest in applying to NCKU.

The meaningful exchange continued with a campus tour guided by Mr. Matthew Mak from ORA. Through his introduction, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of how NCKU’s historic architecture and natural surroundings create a harmonious and inspiring academic environment. In addition to its vibrant atmosphere, the university’s iconic buildings and scenic views reflected both cultural and aesthetic values, offering a glimpse of NCKU beyond its academic excellence, research achievements, and commitment to student development. This short but memorable visit concluded smoothly, with the delegation returning well-information and inspired to consider NCKU as a destination for future studies.
