【轉知】113學年度暑期開授彈性密集課程「微積分預備課程」-課程公告

113學年度暑期微積分預備課程報名開始,請有興趣參加之境外生踴躍報名。
2024 "Pre-Calculus Preparatory Course" summer program is open for sign up.


一、由航空太空工程學系教師自113年8月15日(星期四)至113年9月3日(星期二)開授「微積分預備課程」(英文授課),以補強境外學位生日後修讀專業科目之必備知識。

二、旨揭課程為彈性密集課程,規劃為36小時,2學分。授課時間:每週一、週二、週四、週五上課,每天3小時(09:00-12:00),共計12日(授課日期:8/15、8/16、8/19、8/20、8/22、8/23、8/26、8/27、8/29、8/30、9/2、9/3)。該課程為學士班正式課程,學分列入113學年度第1學期

三、前述課程內容以「對數函數」、「指數函數」、「三角函數」等工程相關數學為主,授課(選課)對象如下:1.本校113學年度入學之境外學位新生(含僑生);2.具本校境外學位生(含僑生)身分且「微積分(一)」或「微積分(二)」學期成績未滿60分者。本系保留符合上述選課身分規定之本系所屬(含能源學程)境外學位生(含僑生)優先選課權。

 

1. The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering is offering a "Pre-Calculus Preparatory Course" (taught in English) from August 15, 2024 (Thursday) to September 3, 2024 (Tuesday) to strengthen the essential knowledge for international degree students before they study professional subjects.

2. This intensive and flexible course is planned to be 36 hours long and worth 2 credits. Classes will be held every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for 3 hours each day (09:00-12:00) over a total of 12 days (class dates: 8/15, 8/16, 8/19, 8/20, 8/22, 8/23, 8/26, 8/27, 8/29, 8/30, 9/2, 9/3). This course is an official undergraduate course and the credits will be included in the first semester of the 2024 academic year.

3. The course content focuses on engineering-related mathematics, including "logarithmic functions," "exponential functions," and "trigonometric functions." The course is intended for:

 A. New international degree students (including overseas Chinese students) admitted to the university in the 2024 academic year;

 B. Current international degree students (including overseas Chinese students) who have not achieved a passing grade (below 60) in "Calculus (I)" or "Calculus (II)." The department reserves the right to prioritize enrollment for its international degree students (including those in the Energy Program) who meet the above criteria.
