【NCKU OIA eNews】 Office of International Affairs Holds 2024 Career Development Lecture to Provide Overseas Students with Insights into Taiwan’s Job Market and Career Opportunities

  On October 15th, 2024, the CareerNavigator Program held a career development lecture for 60 international students, focusing on Taiwan’s financial industry and the Employment Gold Card system. The event aimed to provide insights into Taiwan’s job market and career opportunities.

  Representatives from Bank SinoPac presented an overview of Taiwan's financial industry, highlighting key trends, recruitment needs, and services offered by the bank. This provided students with a clear understanding of career prospects in the finance sector. Followed by Talent Taiwan, with a detailed explanation of the Employment Gold Card application process, which offers skilled foreign professionals a combined work visa, resident visa, and other benefits. They addressed students' questions about how the Gold Card can help them stay and work in Taiwan after graduation.
