【NCKU Overseas Students Agricultural Education Event】

Embracing the land and ensuring food security has been the guiding principle since the inception of a group of farmers known as Jiangjun Mountain Farm. With a focus on fostering direct engagement between consumers and producers, they not only produce fruits that instill confidence but also organize events allowing consumers to visit production sites firsthand. This initiative offers consumers insight into the environmental conditions and production methods behind the food on their tables, fostering a deeper appreciation for the hard work of farmers and the value of their produce. On February 28^th, 2024, the Division of Overseas Students and Scholars Services (OSSS) of OIA hosted an Overseas Students Agricultural Education Event at Jiangjun Mountain Farm to illustrate to NCKU's international students the importance of food sources and the development of various food products with local culture, enriching their comprehension of Taiwanese culture.
