【 New Student Orientation day - Global Talents Received Warm Welcome from NCKU】

The next chapter in the academic journey of the newly admitted overseas students has begun! NCKU’s Overseas Students Orientation was held on September 1, 2024, welcoming bright young minds from across the world.

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) team expressed their warmest welcome to the new students, reaffirming their commitment to providing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.

To enhance safety and legal awareness, the OIA team has invited the local police department to share insights on anti-fraud measures. The Legal Aid Foundation also provides students with legal rights and approaches in Taiwan.

In a collaborative effort to ease integration into a new campus life and a new country, the Counseling and Wellness Division and overseas student associations joined forces to provide invaluable cross-cultural sharing and tips. These resources will prove instrumental in helping new students adapt to their surroundings while maintaining their physical and mental well-being. As these students settle into their new environment, their diverse backgrounds promise to enrich the NCKU campus community.
