【SATU - 2021 Joint Research Scheme (JRS) Call for Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs)】
Warmest greetings from the SATU Presidents' Forum International Secretariat!
The 2021 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS) is now calling for Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PIs) from member universities, for the projects submitted by the Principal Investigators (PIs) in March.
This year, we have received 498 projects from over 300 PI applicants. The number of PI projects received is the highest since the JRS was launched in 2012. It is even more than double of last year’s 232 PI projects!
The project fields include Bioscience & Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Management, Medicine, Planning & Design, Sciences, and Social Science. With this tremendous increase in the PI project number, we believe there is now an even greater opportunity for the scholars of our member universities to collaborate with each other.
If you are interested in being a Co-PI of these projects, here are all you need to do:

Identify the projects of your interest in the PI project list downloadable on the 2021 SATU JRS Website, and jot down the respective project codes.

By 27 April 2021, complete the Co-PI application form at the 2021 SATU JRS Website, in which you will be asked to:

upload a CV with a list of all papers or works published in the past five years

indicate the project codes
The application will be open until 27 April 2021. All applications will then be sent to the PI(s) for review. The matching results will be announced on the 2021 SATU JRS Website on 20 May 2021.
