【來訪目的】滑鐵盧大學奈米科技中心於2018年與本校醫學相關領域的微奈米科技研究中心、奈米醫學研究中心、國際傷口修復與再生中心、前瞻醫療器材科技中心簽訂中心等級的合作協議，加強雙方奈米科技、能源、醫療領域合作。
此次參訪盼會晤校長，洽談人工智慧、大數 據、5G通訊、電動車電池等科技領域之創新研發合作，並參訪跨維綠能材料研究中心，以及前瞻醫療器材科技中心等合作夥伴。
The delegation of the University of Waterloo is visiting NCKU on October 1 to meet with the President, and for information exchange with the leaders of major NCKU research centers about their innovative developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data,5G network, and electric vehicle batteries to explore potential collaborations between UW and NCKU. The two universities established in 2018 an MoU on the level of research center, between the Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology of UW and NCKU’s Center of Micro/ Nano Science and Technology, Nano Medical Research Center, International Center for Wound Repair and Regeneration, and Medical Device Innovation Center. The focus areas for collaborations include nanotechnology, energy, and medicine. To discuss potentials cooperation between the two universities.
