Into the Future Trend Beyond 5G: NCKU-Developed Sateellite IRIS-A Successfully Lanunched into Space

A team from the Department off Electrical Engineering of National Cheng Kung University developed the IRIS-A CubeSat, which was successfully launched Florida, USA, into space on the SpaceX Falcon 9 from, during nighttime of January 13th, and was put into orbit at an altitude around 500 kilometers.

NCKU Signs Scholarship Agreement with the French Office in Taipei

To encourage its outstanding students to pursue short-term exchange programs or dual degree programs in France, National Cheng Kung University collaborated with the French Office in Taipei. On March 11, Huey-Jen Jenny Su, President of NCKU, and Jean-François Casabonne-Masonnave, Director of the Office, signed an MOU on NCKU-French joint scholarship, pledging to promote two-way communication and talent exchange and to create the optimal arrangement for students to broaden their horizons.

NCKU Launches International Branding Image to Undertake the Challenges of the New Era

In order to enhance the international visibility of NCKU and extend its social influence, NCKU shares the "International branding Identity” during the International Advisory Board Meeting. The new international identification image system retains many classic elements of NCKU, including the Chinese character of the school name, the phoenix flower and the standard colors of red and gray, to design a more simple, memorable, and beneficial identification image for digital communication.
