Scholarship offering for Thai Master and PhD students

Application eligibility: Master or PhD students who hold Thai citizenship.

Scholarship amount and quota

1. PhD awardee receives total NTD 180,000 for one academic year

2. Master awardee receives total NTD 135,000 for one academic year

1. Application form (Including An Essay on Your understanding of "the Spirit to Encourage and Cultivate Outstanding Talents at

Home and Abroad to Promote International Friendship and Sympathy of The Chung Hwa Rotary Educational Foundation."

2. Recommendation letter from the Vice president of Office of International Affairs

Applicants must send us a recommendation letter from your advisor and then we will provide you the recommendation letter

from the VP of International Affairs.

3. Transcripts of previous semester

4. Other supplementary documents

The proof that the parent had worked in Taiwan before or currently working in Taiwan、working visa or employment certificate

2019-2020年度中華扶輪獎學金申請、評審及頒發辦法

(✽獎助泰國學生試行辦法✽)

一、獎助對象：現正就讀於台灣各大學碩士班及博士班之泰國籍研究生。

二：獎助名額：四名，以曾在台或目前在台工作之泰國勞工泰籍子女為優先。

三、獎學金額：博士班：每名新台幣十八萬元。

碩士班：每名新台幣十三萬伍仟元。

四、申請日期及方式：

申請人請於本（2019）年9月15日起至10月15日止，填妥申請書連同相關文件以電子郵件方式向駐泰國臺北經濟文化辦事處提出申請。

五、申請必備文件：均以電子檔繳交。

(1)申請書電子檔1份(包含撰文論述「對中華扶輪獎學金鼓勵及培養國內外優秀人才，及促進國際間之友誼及瞭解之認識」乙文)

(2)學校國際長推薦書電子檔1份

(3)台灣各大學碩士班或博士班之在學學期成績單電子檔1份

(4)參考資料：父或母曾來台或目前在台工作證明（父或母來台工作簽證及出入境資料、台灣企業聘僱證明或外勞仲介機構證明等影本，

足資佐證來台工作之資料）電子檔各1份

六、評審及公告：

‧ 初 審：由駐泰國臺北經濟文化辦事處於2019年10月31日前審核申請必備文件。

‧ 複 審：由駐泰國臺北經濟文化辦事處，於2019年11月30日前得就申請人專業及人品等面試複審。

‧ 決 審：由財團法人中華扶輪教育基金會於2019年12月31日前召開董監事會審定得獎人名單（得從缺）並公告之。

七、其他：受獎學生在領取獎學金期間內，必須遵守中華扶輪獎學生受獎學生之規定違反給獎之任一規定者，即取消其受獎資格∘
